Marinated Mushrooms

Mushrooms seem to be nature's sponges, designed to just take in all the delicious flavors of their environment. Pickled mushrooms, also known as marinated mushrooms, are mushrooms that have been marinated with a mixture of herbs and spices using vinegar and oil. A few hours to several days are spent marinating the mixture, which produces firm, squeaky mushrooms that are tasty and delicate.
